At the 2026 Council of Councils conference, a Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) initiative, EAI President Chaesung Chun joined a panel of experts —including Michael Froman (CFR), Francisco de Santibañez (CARI), and Ottilia Anna Maunganidze (ISS)—to discuss international cooperation, U.S.-China strategic competition, and other critical global challenges. President Chun argues that the world is entering a "post-hegemonic" era in which Washington can no longer serve as the sole provider of global public goods, making cooperation among the U.S. and its allies essential to building a new type of order.
