However, while North Korea openly supports Russia, China has not taken a clear stance on the war in Ukraine. Instead, China has proposed mediation, revealing subtle differences in their positions. EAI has published a series of commentaries comprehensively analyzing the positions of the United States, China, Russia, Japan, and South Korea regarding the new Cold War narrative promoted by North Korea.
