Since 2021, EAI has been selecting
and supporting intern scholarship recipients.

EAI intern scholars are given opportunities to actively participate in the institute's activities. The scholarship is reviewed each semester, and renewal or additional selection may occur after a review. Each selected student receives a scholarship.

The EAI scholarship program is supported by W1°, a women's sponsorship group.

General Eligibility Criteria (as of 2021)

- Korean nationals enrolled in a four-year university or graduate program in the humanities or social sciences
- Individuals who are interested in EAI’s research projects and show potential to grow into next-generation global leaders

Common Disqualification Criteria:
- Individuals who have received disciplinary actions or are otherwise deemed ineligible

Preferred Qualifications

- Priority is given to recipients of basic livelihood support or students from low-income households

Intern Scholarship Support Details:

- A living stipend of scholarship per semester per student (can be received alongside national scholarships)
- Support is available for up to three years until graduation (subject to annual review)
- Participation in the EAI Intern Scholar Training Program
- Opportunities to engage in EAI’s academic research, policy research, and educational programs
- Certificate of Appointment and Certificate of Completion provided
