In this interview, Frank Jannuzi, President and CEO of the Mansfield Foundation, argued the continued need for the international community to shape the environment towards dialogue and negotiation despite how frustrating it is when dealing with North Korea. Also, Mr. Jannuzi suggested the U.S. and the international community to look into South Korea’s trustpolitik as a plausible way to foster a regional engagement strategy that is similar to Europe’s Helsinki Process.
