The East Asia Institute (President Yul Sohn), together with Chey Institute for Advanced Studies and Genron NPO hosted the 9th Korea-Japan Future Dialogue on October 2, 2021. The dialogue is a platform for individual-level and private experts from both countries to discuss future cooperation strategies and expand mutual understanding. Under the theme of “ROK-Japan relations amid the U.S.-China competition,” experts discussed the restoration of ROK-Japan relations, and topics such as ROK-Japan cooperation and restoration of democracy amid the China challenge.
