Korea Friendship
The East Asia Institute (EAI) and the Korea Foundation (KF) launched “KF-EAI Korea Friendship,” an educational program for international students.
The “KF-EAI Korea Friendship” project’s “Korean-Social-Study-Consecutive-Lecturing” program, [Listen to Korea] (Korea Friendship Academicus), progressed to its 7th lecture on July 9th. A member of the National Assembly Shim Sang Jung meticulously lectured about Korea’s democracy and its Economic growth process. She also pointed out the social problems in Korea that was uncovered during the growth process.
Throughout the hour-long Q&A session that followed after the member of the National Assembly Shim’s lecture, she stated that patriotism towards Korea does not keep one from being considerate towards other countries, thereby emphasizing the attitude of a “Global Citizen.”
