Researchers from the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) visited the EAI with its chief researcher, Masao Okonogi, who is an expert in North Korea and Korea-Japan relations. Many Korean experts also participated in discussions, including Young-sun Ha Chairman of the EAI, and they shared their views on Japan-North Korea and South-North relations while discussing the Kim Jong-un regime, North Korean economy, U.S.-North Korea relations and many other pertinent issues.
