The East Asia Institute (President Yul Sohn) invites you to the 7th online seminar of the COVID-19 and the New World Order series titled, “International Trade Order in Disarray: Possible Strategies for US and Korea.” The US-China strategic competition brought on many uncertainties in the global trade order. Efforts such as the WTO reform and the expansion of the CPTPP need to be made in order to stabilize the global trade order. In this seminar, Korean and US experts will discuss the impacts US-China Strategic Competition in the global and regional trade order, the prospects of the WTO reform and CPTPP expansion, the role of Japan and possibly the UK and Taiwan in the CPTPP, and the strategies Korea could take.
