The East Asia Institute (EAI) and the Korea Foundation (KF) launched “KF-EAI Korea Friendship,” an educational program for international students.

On July 7th, Mr. Lee Joo-heon delivered the sixth lecture of the Korea Friendship Academicus during in which he talked about seeing the world behind artwork and the specific characteristics of specific art forms. He went on to compare and contrast the differing characteristics of Korean and Western art, a process which included displaying various artworks to enrich the students understanding.

The lecture was followed by an hour-long Q&A session during which the students were able to hear more about his thoughts on Korean art in general and artistic changes caused by the passage of time.
