The East Asia Institute (EAI) and the Korea Foundation (KF) launched “KF-EAI Korea Friendship,” an educational program for international students.

On June 30th, Mr. Young-ha Kim, the third lecturer of the Korea Friendship Academicus, talked about Korean Culture and the Arts and how those factors contributed to his novels and writing. He also explained in detail about the expansion of Korean novels into the global market and his experiences with translating books from one language to another.

After an hour lecture and another hour for questions, the students were able to hear more about Young-ha Kim’s many novels and his view on culture and the arts.
