East Asia Institute (EAI) and Korea Foundation (KF) launched “KF-EAI Korea Friendship,” an education program for international students.

 

Korea Friendship Academicus, consisted of lecture series exploring the various aspects of the Korean society, began on June 18.

 

As the very first lecturer, Representative Roh Hoe-Chan of Progressive Justice Party gave a lecture on “Korean Democracy and National Assembly Reform,” explaining the changing history of the Korean National Assembly and the development of Korean democracy. Mr. Roh further suggested future tasks for the Korean National Assembly reform.”

 

The subsequent Q&A session allowed Korea Friendship students to ask questions freely about the distinctive features of the Korean National Assembly and the importance of Korea’s democratization to the international society.
