|
With China's continued economic growth and the relative decline of the United States, the future path of U.S.-China relations are expected to define the global order in the twenty-first century. At the heart of relations between Washington and Beijing are contentious issues ranging from economic policies to territorial disputes that could either facilitate cooperation or inflame tensions. In order to understand the positions of the United States and China, the EAI has launched the U.S.-China Relations (UCR) Series. This project will be divided into three parts:
UCR Statement Factsheet will cover official statements from the United States and China UCR Briefing will analyze the statements and asses the future direction of the bilateral relationship UCR Watch will review public opinion data on U.S.-China relations.
