Events
Memduh Karakullukçu, President of Global Relations Forum, Turkey, visited President Sook-Jong Lee of EAI on November 11, 2015. Participants discussed implications that South Korea’s democratization process and economic development have for fledgling democracies and middle power diplomacy. Subsequently, participants shared research projects and educational programs of each institution and explored a possible area of future cooperation.
East Asia Institute and Global Relations Forum are each participating in the Council of Councils organized by the Council on Foreign Relations as founding members and representative institutions from South Korea and Turkey, respectively.
