On April 9, the 24TH Global Net 21 Forum was held and the Japanese Ambassador to Korea, BESSHO Koro(別所浩郎), was invited as honorary guest. Sae-Young Cho, professor of International Relations Department of DongSeo University and former chief of East Asia Department of the Foreign Ministry and Kang Choi, Vice President of the Asan Institute led a discussion on “Korea-Japan’s cooperation for the peace and prosperity in East Asia”. The subject of Korea-Japan’s cooperation was keenly discussed by its 32 members of Global Net. At the forum, Yul Sohn, the Dean of Yonsei University’s Graduate School of International Studies, was elected as the successor to the former Chairman of Global Net 21 Forum, Young-Sun Ha, professor of the Department of International Relations at Seoul National University.
