East Asia Institute (EAI) held the 37th Smart Talk Forum with Dr. Rajesh Tandon on Monday, March 24, 2014.
Dr. Tandon is a co-founder and president of Society for Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA), and currently serves as co-chair of UNESCO Chair on Community-based Research and Social Responsibility in Higher Education. At the forum, participants discussed India’s current state of corporate social responsibility (CSR) following the passing of CSR legislation for the first time in the world; the difference between CSR and creating shared value (CSV); and the impact of social enterprises on social accountability and domestic reform efforts.
