  • 2019-07-06

The KF Korea Workshop is hosted by the Korea Foundation and organized by the East Asia Institute to promote and share understanding of Korean social, political and economic issues among international residents in Korea.

The KF Korea Workshop visited the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History on Saturday, July 6. Participants were led through the exhibitions by tour guides including Mr. Fabien Yoon, a French model and actor based in South Korea. The exhibitions elaborated on Korean history ranging from the period of Japanese rule (1910-1945), to Korea’s liberation and imminent division of the Korean Peninsula, as well as subsequent events leading up to the democratization of South Korea.

At the rooftop of the museum, the participants enjoyed the view of Gwanghwamun, Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Blue House, mapping and tracing the streets of inner Seoul.
