EAI conducted the third video interview that is part of the “South Korea Democracy Storytelling” project supported by National Democratic Institute (NDI). EAI interviews Ms. Yun-Jeong Lee, a Youth Leader who served as the youngest council member in South Korea as well as the former visiting researcher at the Yeouido Institute. In this interview, Ms. Lee shares her views and perspectives on issues pertinent to South Korean democracy, including the South Korean youth’s aspiration for democracy; how to better advocate the youth in politics through strengthening party democracy; how to foster youth politicians and youth leaders, and requirements for future leaders in South Korea.
