East Asia Institute (EAI) hosted an international conference titled “Coping wth Security Challenges in the Post COVID-19 World: Climate Change, Pandemic, Economic and Cyberspace Security” on December 11 and 12. During the session “U.S.-China Strategic Competition and Economic Security,” three presentations addressing the hedging strategy of Southeast Asian countries, economic security challenges and strategies of South Korea, and the implications of economic coercion were provided, followed by discussions about each presentation.
