On January 21, EAI hosted a roundtable discussion with Japanese scholars and experts from the Japan Institute of International Affairs’ (JIIA) Korean peninsula project team. The Japanese delegation, headed by Professor Masao Okonogi of Keio University, met with EAI experts and shared their assessments and thoughts on current policy issues faced by Korea and Japan including North Korea’s fourth nuclear test, Northeast Asian affairs, and South Korea-Japan relations.
