Session Description

As part of the Asia Democracy Research Network (ADRN) project, the East Asia Institute invited the International Centre for Ukrainian Victory (ICUV) to hold a roundtable. Moderated by Sook Jong Lee, Senior Fellow of the East Asia Institute, panelists discussed in-depth the crisis happening in Ukraine including genocide and rape, South Korea's humanitarian assistance, and the possible use of Russian nuclear weapons. Hanna Hopko, former head of the Ukrainian parliament's foreign affairs committee, Daria Kaleniuk, co-founder of the Ukrainian Anti-Corruption Action Center, Olena Tregub, director of NAKO, and Yang Gyu Kim, principal researcher at EAI participated as panelists.
