"Evaluating Asia's Democracy through Three Challenges:
Corruption, Shrinking Civic Space, and Gender Inequality"
The Asia Democracy Research Network (ADRN) is proud to share three special reports under the theme of “Policy Research and Policy Outcomes.” These reports identify common democratic challenges and opportunities in three major issues in Asia: corruption, shrinking civic space, and gender inequality. The reports aim to provide academics and practitioners with an objective evaluation of the current status of these issues as well as the existing institutional and legal mechanisms, and ultimately provide pragmatic recommendations to strengthen democracy in terms of combating corruption, expanding civic space, and strengthening gender equality.
