"South Korea’s Foreign Policy Trajectory amid Changes in Global Affairs"
EAI launched a New Year’s special commentary series addressing important variables for South Korea’s foreign affairs in 2021 including COVID-19 and the new U.S. administration under President Joe Biden. With respect to these variables, the series aims to identify seven key policy agendas for the South Korean government and provide expert commentaries for South Korea’s foreign policy strategy going forward. The series consists of seven commentaries on the United States, China, Japan, North Korea, technology·economy, Indo-Pacific, and the Middle East by Chaesung Chun (Chair, National Security Research Center, EAI; Professor, Seoul National University), Dong Ryul Lee (Chair, China Research Center, EAI; Professor, Dongduk Women’s University), Yul Sohn (President, EAI; Professor, Yonsei University), Young-Sun Ha (Chairman, EAI; Professor Emeritus, Seoul National University), Seungjoo Lee (Chair, Trade, Technology, and Transformation Research Center, EAI; Professor, Chung-Ang University), Jae Jeok Park (Professor, Hankuk Univeristy of Foreign Studies), and Gang-Seok Kim (Dankook University GCC National Institute), respectively.
