"Impeachment inquiry into President Trump, how will it affect future US-North Korea denuclearization talks?"

In the past few days, there has been various media coverage on the
House Democrats’ formal impeachment inquiry into President Donald
Trump. This impeachment inquiry also raises questions about the future
of US-North Korea denuclearization talks. Professor Myung-Koo Kang
of Baruch College at City University of New York discusses three different
scenarios: big-deal, interim deal, and no-deal. In evaluating the three
scenarios, he suggests that an interim deal is more realistic than a big-
deal, which "appears to already be dead." Yet "from the perspective of
US domestic politics, no deal appears to be the most likely outcome by
the end of this year". Hence, Professor Kang proposes that we need to
be better prepared for a no deal scenario as well as for "North Korea’s
resumption of nuclear and ICBM and SLBM tests in the coming
year."  [Read Commentary]
