Expert Seminar with Professor Alexander Dukalskis

The EAI held an Expert Seminar on 7th May 2015 with Professor Alexander Dukalskis from University College Dublin. In this seminar, Professor Dukalskis discussed his research topic “Northeast Asia and the International Criminal Court: Causes and Consequences of Normative Disposition.” Professor Dukalskis argued that it is possible to measure the disposition of each state towards international norms, and he aims to do so in order to examine how Northeast Asian states are responding to the International Criminal Court. At the seminar, participants discussed how the Northeast Asian states have responded to the recent effort to bring North Korea into the court’s orbit.
