[Korea Global Forum 2014] CCKS-EAI “The Future of the South Korea-Japan Relations and the Korean Peninsula: Opportunities and Challenges of Trustpolitik”

On June 23, East Asia Institute (EAI) and the Center for Contemporary Korea Studies (CCKS) at the University of Tokyo co-hosted a conference in Tokyo, Japan, with the title of “The Future of the South Korea-Japan Relations and the Korean Peninsula: Opportunities and Challenges of Trustpolitik.” At this joint conference, Korean and Japanese experts and scholars evaluated the feasibility of Trustpolotik and possible future partnership between Seoul and Tokyo on its realization. They also shared their foresight on the changes the Korean unification might bring to the East Asian regional order and to the Korea-Japan relations.
