The East Asia Institute together with the Korea Foundation(President Byung-Kook Kim) and Rep. Shin Nakyun of the Democratic Party held the Korea Public Diplomacy Forum(KPDF) on July 13, 2011 under the theme, “Korea’s soft power and public diplomacy.” President Sook Jong Lee of the EAI, Prof. Shin Wha Lee(Korea University) and Prof. Yong-Wook Lee(Korea University) who are the co-authors of “Public Diplomacy and Soft power in East Asia (co-edited by Sook Jong Lee),” presented their prospects on Korea’s public policy and ways for its future progress.
