The East Asia Institute (President Yul Sohn) held the second online seminar [Democratic Cooperation] series, titled as “Democratic Principles at Test: How Asian Democracies Are Combating the Pandemic. During this seminar, together with the members from Asia Democracy Research Network (ADRN), EAI discussed challenges that arise amid the pandemic and have the potential to damage democracy and share ideas for balancing public safety and democratic principles.
