On Thursday October 29th, as a part of KF-EAI Korea Friendship [Empathicus: Discovering Korea], the EAI Young Festival and Korea Friendship Gala were held at Kukdo hotel.

 

The EAI Young Festival is an opportunity for participants of EAI’s educational program to come together and build a positive network with each other. EAI’s educational program consists of 5 main programs: [EAI Internship Program] as the foundation of EAI’s educational program, [KF-EAI Korea Friendship] which is an educational program for international students residing in Korea, [EPIK Young Leaders Conference] is an English thesis competition for International students and graduate students, [EAI Sarangbang] is a place for a few young people who are making efforts to be experts in International Politics and may wish to become diplomats, and [EAI Scholarship] for students who endeavor for their dreams with underprivileged circumstances.

 

During the Korea Friendship Gala, a commencement ceremony is held for participants who have successfully completed the course, and they then become members of the Korea Friendship Alumni. The members of the alumni have an opportunity to build networks and to expand mutual understanding through cultural exchanges. Furthermore, the honorary ambassador group is arranged to promote Korea. In 2015 KF-EAI Friendship Program, 109 International students from 42 nations in total participated and 43 students completed the course successfully.
