Hon. Charles Hay, the British Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, visited East Asia Institute on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. This roundtable was held on a request from the British Embassy to discuss various issues surrounding the Korean Peninsula. Participants discussed the North Korea and unification policies advocated by the Park Geun-hye administration; fundamental roots of the worsening relations between South Korea and Japan and possible solutions; historical introspection and future trilateral cooperation among South Korea, China, and Japan; and South Korea-China bilateral cooperation mechanisms for responding to North Korea.
