The East Asia Institute's (EAI) 42nd Smart Talk Forum was held with Mr. Wallace Chip Gregson, former Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Defense, Asian and Pacific Security Affairs. During this session, participants discussed issues such as the perceived misconceptions of the U.S. Rebalancing policy in Asia and U.S. military positioning on the Korean peninsula. They also discussed wider regional challenges facing security in Northeast Asia.
