Editor's Note

The EAI held the EPIK Young Leaders Conference 2011 on August 17, 2011 under the theme of “Sustainable Future”. EPIK Young Leaders Conference is an annual event launched in 2010 organized by EPIK Spiders, an academic circle created by EAI intern graduates.

The EAI held the EPIK Young Leaders Conference 2011 on August 17, 2011 under the theme of “Sustainable Future”. EPIK Young Leaders Conference is an annual event launched in 2010 organized by EPIK Spiders, an academic circle created by EAI intern graduates. EAI arranged this essay competition to provide a platform for talented students from home and abroad, who have different majors and backgrounds to develop not only their comprehensive knowledge but also global mind and community spirit. During the two presentation sessions, the presenters shared their ideas on various topics including international politics, security, economics, and business management as well as to ponder their roles in this ever changing global community. All papers presented including the prize-winning thesis will be posted on the EAI website shortly.
