Session Description

As part of the Asia Democracy Research Network (ADRN) project, the East Asia Institute (EAI) co-hosted a session on “The Impact of the Russian Aggression on Asian Democracies” with the Forum 2000 during its participation in the <26th Forum 2000> conference, which was held on August 31-September 2, 2022. The panelists discussed 1) Russia’s violation of the territorial integrity of a sovereign state and sanctions by the international community, 2) areas and ways of cooperation among Asian democracies, and 3) creation of a plurilateral body for democratic unity.
