A New Architecture for Peace and Prosperity in the Asia-Pacific Region
2nd Seminar on the Future Vision of ROK-Japan Cooperation under the U.S.-China Strategic Competition
EAI launched a research project titled “The Future Vision of ROK-Japan Cooperation under the U.S.-China Strategic Competition” in order to redefine the goals of ROK-Japan bilateral relations and to create an inclusive and sustainable regional order beyond ROK-Japan bilateral relations. The Second meeting of the project was held online on March 11, 2021. Korean and Japanese experts on international relations (security, economy and culture) gave a presentation on and discussed the prospects of ROK- Japan-U.S. relations in the context U.S.-China and ROK-China relations. Ishida Atsushi (University of Tokyo) moderated the session and presentations were made by Chun Chaesung (Seoul National University), Lee Dong Ryul (Dongduk Women’s University), and Nishino Junya (Keio University).
