Cluster 2: Northeast Asia

Northeast Asian Security Challenges   Established in 2009, this research network is committed to developing workable plans to reduce tensions arising from a wide range of conflicting political, economic, historical, and military interests between Northeast Asian countries. As a core institution, the East Asia Institution (EAI) is making its every effort to build partnerships with these institutions to expand its scope of research by bringing in different perspectives, broadening its potential target audience and media coverage, and maximizing its public and policy impact. For the next three years, this research cluster will collaboratively develop policy recommendations on major security challenges facing Northeast Asia.
