ADRN

동아시아연구원(East Asia Institute: EAI)은 2017년 8월6일 (일) 서울 웨스틴조선호텔에서 아시아민주주의연구네트워크(Asia Democracy Research Network: ADRN)의 일환으로 5번째 워크숍을 개최하였습니다. ADRN의 참석기관들은 민주주의를 방해하는 요소들로 판단된 부정부패, 시민사회의 축소, 양성평등의 세 가지 주제로 팀을 나누어 토론을 진행하고 진행중인 결과물을 공유하였습니다.

 

ADRN은 2013년 동아시아연구원의 주도적인 설립하에 구성된 네트워크단체로, 아시아 지역에서의 민주주의의 도전과제를 분석하고 보다 실용적인 협동연구를 통해 이 지역의 민주주의 확산과 공고화에 기여하는 것을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 방글라데시, 인도, 인도네시아, 일본, 한국, 말레이시아, 몽골, 미얀마(버마), 파키스탄, 필리핀, 스리랑카, 대만, 태국 13개 아시아국가들의 민주주의 관련 싱크탱크들이 포함되어있으며, 동아시아연구원은 현재 ADRN의 사무국을 맡고 있습니다.

14:45 – 16:00	Monitoring and Evalution Project Managers (PMs) will discuss with each team members on the approach to research projects and major findings. All the ADRN members will share feedback on strengths and weaknesses of research projects. How was the labor divided within each team? What were some difficulties and strengths in conducting research projects in small teams? How did this help or strengthen solidarity-building and institutional cooperation among the ADRN members?
