Lowell Dittmer

로웰 디트머 교수는 현재 UC 버클리(University of California, Berkeley) 정치학 교수로 재직하고 있으며 그의 주요 연구 분야는 개혁이 중국 공산당의 권위에 미치는 영향, 동아시아의 비공식적 정치가 보이는 패턴, 그리고 동아시아 지역정치의 틀 안에서 중국-대만-미국의 삼각관계 등이다. 저서로는 Sino-Soviet Normalization and Its International Implications (University of Washington Press, 1992), China's Quest for National Identity (Samuel Kim 공동저자, Cornell University Press, 1993), China Under Modernization (Westview Press, 1994), 그리고 South Asia's Nuclear Crisis (M. E. Sharpe, 2005) 등이 있다.
