EAI's project planned the interview series "Revisiting Burma," that listen to the stories of civil society activists in South Korea who have supported Myanmar's Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) for the past year.

 

Yan Naing Htun_Representative to the Korea Republic, National Unity Government (NUG), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of the Union of Myanmar. He also serves as an Honorary President of the Junta Denouncing Committee-Korea and a negotiator of the Humanitarian and Disaster Management Department at the Myanmar Democracy Network. He fled to the Thai border as the political criticism started and got recognition from the Korean government as a political asylum in 2005. Since 1988, he has engaged in various activities speaking out for the democratization of Myanmar with following experiences: Member of Central Executive Committee of Burma Media Association (2006), President of NLD International Organizing Committee in Korea (2016).
