EAI conducted the second video interview that is part of the “South Korea Democracy Storytelling” project supported by National Democratic Institute (NDI). EAI interviews Dr. Tae-Soon Park, Representative of the Korean Forum for Public Discussion as well as Chief Director of the Institute of Social Conflict. In this interview, Dr. Park shares his views and perspectives on issues pertinent to South Korean democracy, including how participatory democracy has moved forward in society; mandates and activities of the Korean Forum for Public Discussion; cases of voluntary civic engagement through forums for public discussion, and future of South Korean democracy through civic engagement.
