EAI conducted the first video interview that is part of the “South Korea Democracy Storytelling” project supported by National Democratic Institute (NDI). EAI interviews Mr. Junghun Cho, a newly-elected Member of the 21st National Assembly of South Korea as well as a member of the Transition Korea party. In this interview, he shares his views and perspectives on issues pertinent to South Korean democracy, including how his party contributes to party democracy in South Korea; strength and weakness of South Korean democracy; platform politics and its linkage with parliamentary democracy; how to better utilize digital democracy; and how to increase young people’s interest in politics.
