[EAI Virtual Seminar] 2020 U.S. Presidential Election Prospects
"American Democracy at a Crossroad: The 2020 U.S. Election, It is Not about Who Wins"
The East Asia Institute (EAI) hosted a virtual seminar on “2020 U.S. Presidential Election Prospects” as the first online event of the New World Order after COVID-19 series. The session hosted University of California at Berkeley’s Professor Paul Pierson, the John Gross Endowed Chair and Professor of Political Science, and Professor Taeku Lee, the George Johnson Professor of Law and Professor of Political Science, as speakers. The panelists discussed a range of topics including the trend of democratic backsliding in the United States, COVID-19’s prospective impacts on election outcomes, and the structural elements pertaining to the presidential election. The transcript and key findings of the seminar were published in both English and Korean following the event.   pc  mobile
