On March 21, Dr. Liane Saunders, Director for Strategy of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office visited the EAI and met with Chairman Young-Sun Ha to discuss current issues of the Korean peninsula, notably the proposed inter-Korean and U.S.-North Korea summit talks. The visit was made upon the request from the British Embassy, Seoul and provided an opportunity to exchange views on the agenda of upcoming negotiations, such as the possible development of the six-party talks, the denuclearization of North Korea, and a guarantee of the NK regime security
