On May 23, the East Asia Institute (EAI) and the China Institute of International Studies (CIIS) co-hosted a conference in Beijing with the title of “Shifting Regional Order and Inter-Korean Relations: Strengthening the Strategic Partnership between Beijing and Seoul.” The EAI-CIIS joint conference brought together Chinese and Korean experts and scholars to share their ideas about China-South Korea and China-North Korea relations as well as their implications on the regional order in East Asia.
