The EAI together with Peking University’s Center for International & Strategic Studies (CISS)co-organized a roundtable session on “Future of the Region after Global Economic Crisis: The Role of China and South Korea in East Asia.” As MacArthur Asia Security Initiative core institutions, the EAI and CISS co-organized the event to facilitate future cooperation. Security experts from South Korea and China emphasized that close cooperation between the two countries is important for the development of peace and stability in East Asia.
