EAI held its seventh expert seminar, inviting Richard J. Samuels from MIT. Samuels delivered a presentation on the topic of “Kidnapping Politics in East Asia”. There was a heated debate with scholars who participated in the seminar, including a moderator Sook-Jong Lee (EAI) and three designated discussants, Sang-Joon Kim (Yonsei University), Chang-hee Nam (Inha University) and Myon Woo Lee(Sejong Institute).
