The 2016 EAI Scholarship Program selected 15 outstanding students as a way to nurture Korean’s next generation of leaders. The newly selected scholarship recipients were selected from a pool of undergraduates who are going to be sophomores in 2016. Undergraduates in their third and fourth year who were chosen as recipients last year and continue to be part of the EAI Scholarship Program after being interviewed again. All of them were interviewed to be the 2016 EAI Scholarship recipients and the 15 students who were finally selected participated in the EAI Scholarship Ceremony and Mentoring Camp on February 5, 2016. The EAI Scholarship Mentoring Camp aims to mentor future leaders by providing them with useful advice rather than leaving them by themselves with concerns about future careers. At the mentoring camp, lectures were given by Sunjung Park (Managing Director at Daesun Flour Mills ) and Sinsook Kim (Head of Personnel Planning Bureau at Ministry of National Defense). EAI scholarship recipients will receive scholarships annually until they graduate and will be provided with the opportunity to participate in EAI internship programs, academic and policy research, and other educational programs.
