EAI hosted a Youth Focus Group allowing the EAI interns a chance to share their opinions on ROK-U.S. relations and the presence of U.S. troops on the Korean Peninsula with the Director of Strategy for the Combine Forces in Korea Bryan Port.

The Director of Strategy for the Combined Forces in Korea Bryan Port conducted a meeting with a Youth Focus Group. The purpose of the meeting was for the younger generation to express their opinions on various topics and to enable a mutual exchange between the government and the younger generation, which often feels disenfranchised and disinterested in politics.

In the beginning the group was hesitant to share their views but they quickly became more comfortable expressing their opinions and it became a very lively and engaging discussion. In the end both the students and Director Port gained a lot of valuable information about each other.
