On June 30, United Kingdom Air Commodore Nicholas Bray and United Kingdom Defense Attaché to South Korea Brigadier Andrew Cliffe visted EAI to meet EAI experts on Northeast Asian affairs. Under the title “ROK in the Context of Northeast Asia,” both sides discussed various issues including UK foreign policy toward Northeast Asia, inter-Korean relations, and regional security cooperation.
