Prior to the second Summit for Democracy (S4D) Indo-Pacific Regional Meeting held in March 2023, Seoul, the East Asia Institute (EAI) conducted a research project on agenda setting for successful meeting and following policies, with the support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
EAI held a democracy cooperation seminar on Monday, April 10, to share the result of a research project and find Korea’s strategy for anti-corruption international cooperation. In the first session, researchers who participated in the project introduced the results and proposed a way of Korea’s democracy diplomacy focused on the anti-corruption agenda. The second session consisted of the presentations of external experts from the government and civil society, regarding the way to strengthen anti-corruption capability through technology.
This seminar was held as a national-level workshop hosted by members of the Asia Democracy Research Network (ADRN).
