As part of the Korean Democracy Storytelling Project run by the East Asia Institute (EAI), a research team led by Professor Woo Chang Kang of Korea University invited an expert from the National Election Commission, to hold a closed meeting on “Election Management in Korea and Implications for a New Democracy” on July 21. This project, supported by the National Democratic Institute (NDI), will conduct research under the theme of “South Korea’s Democratic Resilience.” Four research teams will publish issue briefings based on the online meetings and roundtable talks held in June, July, and August.
